Grace is All Girl!

This is a picture of the wooden letters I altered to make my 4 year old DD name for over her bed. Don't you just love those pink walls (: Her bed-spread is Disney Princess. I created the letters to coordinate with all the colors in her room. The paper is Basic Grey and the paint is a light pink acrylic paint. I also used Pearl acrylic paint from Ranger to distress the edges and give it a glow. I used Glitz Design Bling. Grace is happy with her name (:
This is a close up of a butterfly I made out of a plastic package. I just found a butterfly image I liked in a magazine and used it for a template. I stamped a flourish on the butterfly and added stickles to the edges of the butterfly. It is hard to see in the picture but really pretty on the letter. This butterfly shows how recycling and reusing = pretty embellishment.
If you have any questions please feel free to ask! This was an inexpensive decoration to make.

Man Card Swap!

Attack Of The Caffeine Crash stamp and Stampin Up paper. I colored this image with Copics. I sold out of this stamp FAST, so I will be adding more to my store later this week. It is just adorable! I think we can all relate to this image of being overworked and over caffeinated (: I do have a few Gruffies left if you want to take a look. They are really cute and popular.
I made this tie card using Lime Rickey paper from Basic Grey. I used the 6x6 size pad to make this man tie. I made both of these cards for our local SCS shoebox swap last Saturday. The theme was male cards. This is usually not a strong area for me, so our swap was very helpful for me (: Everyone brought amazing cards to make and like always we had a BLAST. The tie is easily found if you Google it. If I can do it so can you (:

All Girl Card!

This is a card I made for my SS. The challenge was to make a card using a non-traditional fold. My SS is very girly, so I thought I would make an ultra girly card. The paper I used is from Glitz Design, Hot Momma. The flowers are large Bazzil. The brads are large metal that I dipped in StazOn, pink powder and embossed. The black bling is also Glitz Frosting

Secret Sister Package

I followed six weeks of fun secret sister challenges and this is the final result. I have had so much fun completing these challenges every week, as well as leaning about my SS. I have posted a few of these cards the past few weeks.
This is a scissor charm for my SS. I will carry these in my online store soon. You place a charm on your scissors,  so while at crops you can identify your scissors. We always have to be careful not to mix up supplies at swaps and crops that I attend (: I hope my SS will find this helpful.
This is not the best picture of this mini crock. I placed rub ons on the crock and after the rainbow nerds have been eaten it will hold buttons, beads or more nerds (:

Lipstick & Eye Pencil Ready!

This is a new stamp just added to Scrapbook Store at Your Door. Of course I had to have one (: This stamp reminds me of slumber parties I had with friends as a little girl. I just LOVED playing with makeup! I used my Cricut to make the flower frame, vellum for the sentiment and copics for the coloring. The flower is from the Valentines Prima jar. Check out all the new House Mouse stamps!

Clearly Fun!

This is a House Mouse stamp that I have in stock, but SOMEHOW forgot to place online. I will be doing that on Monday (: You have to wonder about me sometimes, LOL! Anyway, I made this card using an acetate sheet. I wanted this card to be layered like a clear album would be. Nothing is more creative than a clear album with all its layers. I used butterscotch alcohol ink on the inside of the front cover to give it a lemonade feel. I folded a large Bazzil flower in half. I dipped a large yellow brad in perfect medium and Bridal embossing tinsel by Ranger. I also added the fun little swirl from the 350 pack embellishment kit that I carry. I colored my HM image with beautiful Copics (yes, I adore them).  I am having a wonderful weekend so I hope you are too!

Well Wishes for Easter!

This is a Flower Soft card I made using Spring Flower Soft. I have soooo much fun with this beautiful product. If you do not have some you can pick up a box set or a jar of Spring for not a lot of money at my store. This stamp is also from the Flower Soft company called Well Wishes. It is a lovely large stamp, perfect for flower soft. I have had a busy week, so I wanted to share a little of what I have been working on. It's my oldest daughter's ninth birthday tomorrow, so we have a day full of fun and friends planed for her (: I hope everyone has a lovely Easter Sunday!

Embellished EMILY!

Okay, I took this picture in my craft room, the old way before the light-box. Now these pictures are not so great! Whatever (: On to this post (: I made these altered letters for my DD bedroom. You may remember I posted pictures of her room several months ago. She has a lime green focus wall and purple walls. Very 9 year old (: I made her name using plain wooden letters. I painted them with "folk Art 654 Metallic Amethyst," and distressed the edges with, "Adirondack Pearl Acrylic Paint." The paper is Glitz Design's GiGi paper collection. I also used Liquid pearls on the centers of the flowers along with tiny pearls. I painted the silk flowers with a little purple paint to give it more depth and shine. I used Lime frosting and Flower frosting from Glitz also. The end result is really neat, sorry my pictures are not, LOL!
P.S.
I added new House Mouse Stamps
and embellishments to my online
store today! Check it out!

Flower Soft Fun!

I made this card using my favorite new embellishment, Flower Soft! I carry this amazing stuff in my online store. Anyway, I used an older Stampin Up stamp on vellum. Cut an oval in my card, placed the vellum behind the cut-out. I mounted a piece of Porcelain Basic Grey paper behind it. I used two of the 350 piece embellishment set I carry in my store. I am convinced it will last me two years (: Flower soft is a BLAST to play with! I am going to work in some more play time today (:
My light box is improving thanks to Kryssi from Sugar Buffet, she is an amazing artist as well as a great person. Visit her Blog and be totally inspired. Thank you so much Kryssi for helping me. I do need a few more lights in my set up and I think that will make it perfect.
Also, check out my new Button! It links directly to my online store. I will be announcing an amazing Button Blog Candy from my store on Monday (: Hope everyone is having a GREAT day!
