Christmas in July!
It's Christmas in July! I can't believe I made a Christmas card in July, this is so not me (: I was inspired by this little set of studio G stamps. It is not a "Christmas set" but I thought it worked well in a Christmas card. I may be organizing Christmas Crafts at my children's school this year. Last year I was just on the planning committee. Our school has over 700 children so this is a really large and really fun event! If any of you creative super creators (I'm serious (: ) have ideas that would be easy to assemble for Elementary school children pass them my way specialcraftmom@gmail.com (: It is crazy to think about Christmas now but I know it is a good idea to start planning.

Blintz Base Fun!
I made this card for the TLC 179 Challenge this week on SCS. it is called a Blintz Base fold, really fun! My DH has been keeping our camera in his brief-case, so I am behind on my posts, sorry. The DS is from Scrapbook walls, chatterbox. I cut out flowers from one of the floral papers. I know this card would look amazing with many different designer papers. I am not the best folder in the world and I really just like eyeing sizes up, so if I could complete this card anyone can (: Hope you like it!

Happy Birthday Joy Fold card!
This is a card I made for my ML for her birthday. I wanted to try the Joy Fold card that is featured this week on splitcoaststampers, so I made her a Joy Fold birthday card. This was a lot of fun to make so I hope she likes it. I am in the middle of creating more Cricut projects for the class I teach twice a month, and some will include new products from Provo Craft. Now all I need is some creative juice! If any of you have some please send it my way, LOL! No, really (:

Shoebox Fun!
I cased this card sketch from Kathleen at My Happy Place (See my favorite blogs). I love her creative cards, and this one will be perfect for the local SCS shoebox swap this Saturday. I am soooo excited! It was a sketch she created for a 10 minute cards class. I am using a different paper combination and Liquid pearls on my flowers center. I used a cricut to cut out the white centers (3/4" cut). I used a friend stamp on the bottom, but a variety of sentiments would work well also. The flowers were made using the scallop punch from Stampin Up, scissor cuts were made to create petals. I really had fun creating this card and hope everyone enjoys it at the shoebox swap (:

I am Back!
I made this card today using my CRICUT. I had to make my cupcake hot pink (: I added cotton candy stickels to the icing and clear to the candle. I added stickels to the stamped celebrate also. I thought it would be fun to play with this image (from Doodle-charms) and it was. I actually made four cards today and two hit the trash! I am having such an odd day. I think it is because I am still very sleepy from camping, and ALL THE LAUNDRY that has been created from it. I had an amazing time, but the chores that pile up on me are a little too overwhelming at times. I just need to get a good nights sleep and I will be better tomorrow (:

Spice It Up Fun!
This is my Coffee Hello card that I made for the Wt175 challenge on splitcoaststampers today (:
Today's challenge (WT175) is to use spice or any food item in your card. I was so excited to play that I snatched up several items out of my pantry and ran to my craft room. This was one of the best challenges I have played along with in some time! My imagination is going wild with ways to use all sorts of things (: I first saw this idea in a stamping store on my vacation in Branson, Mo. The shop carries a spice line specific for crafting/card making. They had several examples of card using spice and I really loved the idea!
My first card is made with coffee beans. This card smells like a good coffee shop (: I had to make one with coffee (:
The second card is made with cinnamon and parsley. The camper was stamped using chocolate chip ink, glue was added and cinnamon was sprinkled all over the camper. This makes it smell like someone is baking cinnamon rolls or apple pie inside the camper (: The ground cover was made using parsley. It makes it look like camping is going on deep in the woods. I had to use my Happy Camper set, because we are going camping today. This will be my last post for the week. Hope you like my spicy creations!

Happy Morning Card (:
This card was made for the Sketch challenge today on splitcoaststampers, SC185. The middle of this card is stamped but in my picture it's hard to see. I used whisper white to stamp a flourish in the middle, my cricut to cut the happy, a white pen to make dots around the happy, Doodle This stamp set from Stampin Up and Paper Studio paper. I used my Aqua brush to color the flowers in pink passion and pixie pink and highlighted the flowers using cotton candy stickels. It was so nice to have some alone time this morning while the kids slept in a little (: I have enjoyed a few cups of coffee while creating this card and now posting it. As a mom its the simple quiet moments that can be so enjoyable! I hope you like this card (:

Got Grid Flower card!
I made this card for the TLC177 Challenge on SCS titled, "Got Grid?" I used my provo craft paper cuter to make my grids. I rubbed creamy caramel and orchid opulence over the paper. I distressed a small paper doily with creamy caramel and placed that in the center. I attached purple flowers to the doilies center, attached little pearls using Liquid Pearls. I added Pearl Acrylic Paint around the edge of this card. I think this card is really blooming, LOL (:

P.S. We are all doing a lot better
around here, thank you for all your

Inspiration Challenge CAKE!
This is the card I made for the inspiration challenge on SCS this week. I love cake so this was fun (: I used little pearls on the cake and liquid pearls to border the layers. I used small doilies as a background. I distressed the background with creamy caramel. I used silk flowers with pearl centers as a cake topper and accent on the bottom of the card. I wanted to create something different, so this was fun! It's always good to have wedding themed cards on hand.

Creative Kids!
Wow, I have to share how impressed I am with my son! We set up an art table for the kids today, and it is my son's job to make the snack. Now, he came up with this all on his own...ROBOTS! The little animal crackers outline the face, the gram cracker makes the mouth along with a cheese stick, and two cherries make up the eyes on these cute robot snacks (: He is so very creative and I love to nurture that in my children (: I just had to share!
This is a picture my little girl painted along side the snack my son created (: I am glad to say we are feeling better today!

Happy Camper Family Name Frame Fun!
Happy Camper is so fun to play with! I loved it the first time I saw it in the catalog, but had no reason to buy/use it. We just bought a camper so this set is now perfect!!! My picture is not as clear as I would have liked, but you get the picture (: I used yellow stickels on the fire and windows. The little wooden posts coming out of the grass spell our name (: The people are from Stampin Up also. They are a little difficult to line up, so if you start from the bottom and work up you will have better success. I use this set to make all sorts of custom gifts. I made the grass and signs using my Cricut (: I think this will be cute in our office. I am really having fun with this cute camping set!

Wish We Were Happy Campers!
I made this card using the Happy Camper set from Stampin Up. We have just recently gotten into camping, so I had to have this set! I also used a sentiment stamp I bought on vacation that reads, "Life is an Adventure!" this stamp is from Northwoods Rubber. I thought that sentiment fit our lives, LOL!
We are all still very sick and as I make this post NOT happy campers (: My three year old is on my lap crying and I am now getting sick! I am having cold and hot sweats, a cough and a pounding headache ): That is the reason for my less frequent posts, sorry. I made this card last night while my husband read bedtime stories, it was nice to have some stamp time even if I felt bad.

The Cutest Get Well Gift!!!!
This is a "GET WELL" gift basket from THE PERSONAL GIFT BASKET CO. (: My friend Tiffany felt so sorry for my four very sick children that she had this made for them (: Now how sweet was that! My children were so excited when she came in the door as you can see why! This wagon was filled with so many unique items, we were really impressed. The owner of this company is a good friend of Tiffany's (TIZZI), and I have a link to her Blog on this Blog. If you are in need of a special gift I would highly recommend giving them a call.
I am soooo exhausted! My children are highly demanding sick children ( : It only adds to the chaos with four sick together! We are generally never sick but for some reason we have 'everything' going on in this house right now ): I mean everything, I'll spare you the details (:
My Grandma is visiting this week too (: I am up EARLY to make this post and have a nice cup of coffee, alone. Well, I hear my three year old crying for me to come wipe her nose before she gets out of bed, wish me luck!
P.S. I am hoping to create something this week...
I will be visiting Blogs in my spare 'minutes' (: LOL!!!!

happiness, cherish, sparkle card (:
I am in love with BoBunny! This paper is from the Smitten line from BoBunny. I used Stampin Up stamps and punch. I also love the color pink...like you didn't know that (: I plan on sending this as a RAK, I have six RAK cards with stamps ready to mail, oops.
I made this card before vacation and it is much prettier in person. I am still working on my picture taking skills (:
I have two very sick little girls, my 3 year old says her nose is falling (: LOL, she is such a sweet sick baby ): I am exhausted, so I hope to make it to my craft room today for some R and R.
