Boy is this a Flip Album!

This is a flip book mimi album I made for my DH aunt's 40th birthday (they are only 5 years apart). She has two handsome teenage boys and I thought she would enjoy a mimi album to record some of her favorite pictures and memories. She was VERY happy to get this gift (:
I used Glitz Designs Dozer paper to make this album. It is the perfect boy or young man paper. I also used the journaling cards that go with this paper. It adds the perfect obvious spot for recording memories or thoughts. Sometimes I just enjoy expressing my deep love for each of my children in my scrapbooks.
This is the inside of this maze of a flip book. I love how I can use four sheets of paper and create an entire album! Glitz paper is such high quality paper this album will look wonderful for years to come! Check out my store to have a look at this paper and hardware pack with 350 pieces of metal goodies!

Morning Kick Start!!!!

I finished this candy bar wrapper as a possible project for my Chocolate themed shoebox swap that I am hosting next week for our local SCS ladies. I will be making a few of these to test out my favorite. I used Vellum on this one so the Basic Grey paper would show as a pattern on the cup and background. I added a little liquid pearls behind the face image so the pattern wouldn't show through the mouse face. This stamp is a House Mouse Morning Kick Start. Let me know what you think!
I am having a birthday party for my son's 7th birthday. He is having a friend home from school and our large family over. I told him that I ordered a custom Wii cake (It's a giant Wii remote) I am also planning on making white table covers as Wii remotes. He burst out crying! He says, "Are YOU going to draw the remotes?" I said son it's not like I don't have basic craft skills! He is still REALLY upset at my idea, LOL! I can draw basic shapes (:

Tin Full of LOVE!

I made this little tin using Ranger Alcohol Inks. I love how this looks in person! I made it for my DF Tiffany. She has been on Weight Watchers for 2 years and she has lost 105 pounds!!!! I am so proud of her so I bought an assortment Of Weight Watchers Chocolates and filled it up. I added Glitz Design frosting around the bottom to add a little something (:
I made this hot pink tin for my DM for Valentines Day. She loves this stamp set from BoBunny called Ornamental. I rolled this acrylic stamp without the block in Timber Brown StazOn. I punched holes in this tin and ran ribbon through it. I also filled her tin with Weight Watchers Chocolates. This tin is much cooler in person.

Love, Joy, Happy Stain Glass Window Card!

I made this card for fun (: I love playing with Ranger products, so I wanted to make a card using acetate and Alcohol Inks. I made an oval window and cut a piece of acetate to fit a little larger than the window. I used Adirondack Alcohol Inks from Ranger in Wild Plum, Butterscotch and Stream. The result was a vibrant pink with touches of the butterscotch. It really pops in person. I used a stamp set from Fancy Pants Designs called Simply Stated. This is a fun stamp set with a lot of options for cards and scrapbooks. I used one of the flourishes around the card in chocolate chip, and I used the words HAPPY, JOY and LOVE from the set. The image behind my acetate window is a flower vine also in this set. This card was purely created for the fun of creativity. Sometimes I enjoy working outside my box. I hope you enjoy looking at this (:
If you love this stamp set as much as I do please check out my website! The Ranger products will be arriving at Scrapbook Store at Your Door any day now (: YAY!

Sassy Stampers Challenge #6

This is a card I made for today's Sassy stampers challenge. The challenge was to create a special card for the man in our lives. This card is for my DH because we bought a camper last summer and we are soooo looking forward to using it again this summer. We are so eager to go camping that we have a trip planned in March! The sentiment says the best is yet to be, and I feel that way about my life with him. We are really best friends, and enjoy so much being married. I used a new hardware set from my website for all the metal details. This set has 350 pieces of unique hardware for your cards and scrapbooks. You really should check it out, it comes in a reusable box! I stamped a heart using Adirondack Alcohol Ink on the metal tag. Hope you like my card!

Cat and Mouse LOVE!

This is an envelope card that I made using the instructions from SCS. This tutorial was in the weekly inking and it was a lot of fun to make. I forgot to run the envelope through the crimper and like a dumb dumb I couldn't understand why the top wouldn't go on,  LOL (: I used the Polka Dot roller from Glitz Designs as a background. I used Copics and SU markers for coloring my HM image. I have read many people complaining on Blogs that House Mouse is just too hard to color. I thought that too when I colored my first House Mouse. That is just not true, just like anything in paper crafting you have to understand  a few key tips for success. First only color the mice with light colors such as Stampin Up Creamy Caramel, colored pencils and a blender, or Copics in the lightest shades of light brown and gray. I really like W1 Warm Gray Copic and the "skin colors" for the face. House Mouse stamps are a BLAST to color when you follow these simple tips. Also sponging a soft caramel color around the image like I did on this card can add a great background. I will be adding several NEW house Mouse stamps to my website along with several tools. I hope you will give House Mouse a try! Check my store out for unique products and service from a fellow Blogging friend!
Okay, this is our new kitten Princess Meow Meow and my daughters Fur Real Friend stuffed animal. This stuffed animal purrs like a kitten and moves too (: Our kitten thinks she has found  a friend!
Princess was so happy to lay next to her new friend, and when we first found her she had her paws wrapped all around it! My daughter now calls her Fur Real Friend Prince Meow Meow LOL! I guess Princess has a new love. I thought you would enjoy this feline Love Story.

Love is All You Need! Oh and some Bling too (:

This is a classic flip book that I know everyone has saw and done before. This is my first and I have to say it was a BLAST to make (: I used Basic Grey Bittersweet (6x6 pad), and Basic Grey Bittersweet Element stickers. If you do not have this 12x12 sheet of drop dead gorgeous stickers you need to order them NOW! Anyway, I used Bittersweet stickers on the front along with Glitz Frosting (BLING) across the bottom because you can't have love without a lot of bling, right! I also added some Valentines Primas with pearl centers.
This is an inside view of my flip book. I love the contrast of patterns with the Bittersweet collection. It is my favorite paper at the moment (: Of course you can have some to if you click HERE!
This is an inside look at how I secured the closing. I strung my ribbon through the center after making a slit in the paper. This way the ribbon can be firmly tied without fear of coming off.
This is where the ribbon comes out and wraps around. Hope this is a helpful idea (: If you haven't tried one of these they are wonderful! I made this one for my Baby Sister, she is getting married next January! I am 16 years older than her so I have been called Mamma Sissy (: I am helping her plan her wedding and of course I will be giving lots of showers. This will be one of her gifts so I hope she doesn't check my Blog this week, LOL! Oh well I had to share (:
