Class Party Bags

These are the treat bags I made for my daughter's classroom for Halloween. You may think that I am really on top of things because I made 25 of these and I finished them yesterday. Well, not so organized am I (: I got a call Monday night from this mom, she was talking about this party at school, so I asked if she was talking about my son's class party (remember I have 4 kids) she was a little perturbed at me and told me it was for my daughter's class party. She then asked if I remembered that I was signed up to do the treat bags..NO. Now she is really disgusted with me, but I promised her that I would be able to make them. At the beginning of school (August) we sign up for all the little things that we will help with throughout the school year. I always mean to bring my calender and write this stuff down but I always forget it at home!!! It is such a mad dash to get anywhere with four kids.
I have to say that I am very proud that I finished these little treat bags. They are very simple, but I needed them to be, because it was last minute and for 25 kids! My DD loves them so that is all that matters to me (: I try so hard to be super mom, but I am just not that good at my life.
My DH asked why I cut the tops (: I told him it was supposed to look like straw (: Oh well (:

Shoebox Fun!!!

Look how much FUN we are having (:

I host these events in my dinning room that I choose to keep empty for crafting purposes (: I love to set up my tables, add paper to the tops so we can stamp on them and away we go!!! I use old plan paper that my DH gets from work for my large table paper (:
This is another card made by Katherine at our local SCS shoebox swap last Saturday. I just love the 3-D type cards (: We used Snow Swirled from SU. The center image was embossed with Gold embossing powder.
I think I will try this card template for a few of my Christmas cards this year. It is a little too complicated to mass-produce (I need 200 cards this year). We had so much fun at our shoebox swap, what a great group of ladies!!!! The cards were sooooo wonderful too!

October Shoebox Fun at my House!

This adorable card was made by Dee. I love this card (: I love the Wild About You set (:
This card was made by Shirley. I had to have someone show me how to fold the turkey feathers, LOL! I really thought this was a fun card. I added the leaves to the card, but her original card didn't have them.
This card was made by Tiffany. She used the Fall Festival paper from BoBunny and Glitz frosting (the bling) from my store. This card is so pretty in person (:
This card was made by Melissa. I asked for the pattern so I could make this into Christmas cards. I just love this card!!!!
This cute little Frankie was made by Tracy. I have wanted to make one of these after seeing so many cute designs on My Happy Place (see favorite Blogs). I have one more card and some pictures from our shoebox swap to share tomorrow (:  Let me know what you think!!!

Tower of Birthday Fun!!!!

These are plain hat boxes that I altered for our church Sunday school. I was asked to make a cake like birthday treat tower that can be used for the children's birthdays each month.  I just noticed I didn't stack them straight for the picture (: I am so crazy this week!!!
I painted he boxes a yellow, covered them in a birthday themed paper. I also stamped and embossed several of the papers. I used my Glue Glider Max (the big Daddy of adhesive guns) The new Glue Glider Pro that I showed you a few days ago is the Little Sweetie, it is not the big gun. It is perfect for small crafting like cards and scrapbook pages. It looks larger in the picture.
I used the amazing ribbon adhesive to attach this ribbon firmly to the box lids. It allows for the ribbon to be placed straight and firm. Click HERE to order yours (: You will love me for it (:
The finished product, one gigantic tower of birthday fun! My picture isn't the best, but my week is a little crazy (: I am still getting ready for our shoebox at my house Saturday. Oh, I need to design a card for it! I am soooo excited to host this month (: I have all sorts of wonderful appetizers and a chocolate fondue. We are not expected to provide food, but I love to eat, LOL!  We always have the most FUN!

Camping Nightmare!!!! and fun this weekend (:

I am hosting a local SCS shoebox swap at my home this Saturday! My dining room (where I host these events) is covered in camping gear from several camping trips taken in the past two weeks (: I am up to my eyeballs in camping stuff and laundry generated from it. I am soooo exhausted and I just want to take a nap. I also need to clean my craft room because I promised to show everyone. I am also very busy with inventory. I wish that I could create today, but I just can't ):
I am going to leave you with another look at another neat product on my site. It's called Crop & Glue embellishment adhesive. I take this little purse (it comes in a little adhesive pouch) with me to shoebox swaps and it is wonderful to have just the right adhesive for each job! It comes with the amazing ribbon adhesive called lines, micro squares perfect for a strong bond on a tiny item, and adhesive squares perfect for putting my card all together. I really love my little adhesive purse and I always have a lot of interest in it at crops. It is small enough to fit in my purse or bag and lasts for a long, long time.  This is a lot of adhesive for not a lot of money (:  I love it and I know you will too! Check it out at my store scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com

Glitz and Glam and lots of FUN!

This is a card I made using Glitz Designs paper, Glitz Designs Frosting (the bling), Prima white flowers, mini pearls, vellum and Fancy Frills stamps from BoBunny. The center is vellum and I stamped in Versa Mark (Fancy Frills stamp set) and embossed using star dust embossing powder from Stampendous! I love how Glitz frosting is moldable, I would have gone out of my mind trying to place individual crystals all around my oval opening, LOL! I used stickles on my prima white flowers, but this didn't show up in my picture. I love pink and I love the Hot Mama paper so I will try and not use it sooooo much (:
I am soooo excited!!!! Glue Arts just released this hand held Glue Glider Pro. You can find it at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com. This is the adhesive for the serious crafter, trust me! This adhesive will not run out like typical brands of adhesive do (I am not naming names). I was so tired of running out of adhesive a few days after I bought it! I came across Glue Arts amazing products while at a scrapbook convention and they have spoiled me with their quality (: If you would like to own this little Glue Glider Pro just click HERE. I have added more products today, so enjoy shopping!!!!

Fun Stamping!!!!

This is a Christmas card that I made last night. I am trying to use up some of my paper and this paper is from Pine Cone Press. The stamp is from SU marci set, the flowers are Prima (I stamped them with a BoBunny flourish stamp), the bling is Glitz frosting round. I love my Glitz frosting!!!!! This is the technique featured on SCS right now. I stamped on vellum using Stazon, embossed with clear powder and colored the back. It gives it a really neat look (: I made several images, but I need to create cards with them. If you haven't tried this technique you will love it! I placed several orders today for new products, so keep checking my store! I really appreciate all the orders and support (: I only carry what I love so you are going to love ordering from me. If you haven't checked out Scrapbook Store at Your Door click HERE!!!!
This is a picture of my sweet little girl at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Mo. over the weekend. We went camping for one last time this year. We had such a wonderful time! Branson is gorgeous in the fall!!!! I just thought the face painting was so cute. I am going to order some (:

Fancy Frills Christmas

This is a Christmas card I made using the Fancy Frills stamp set from BoBunny and a SU snowflake. I used red embossing powder on the stamped images. I also used a Seasons Greetings stamp that I have had as long as I can remember. The bling is frosting from Glitz Designs. I have had this ribbon for some time, so I am not sure who makes it. This was a fun easy card that I will duplicate for sure. I am having so much fun with my Fancy Frills set! It has so many flourishes that are so elegant, as well as butterflies in various sizes (not used on this card). I have added new products to my website and have made a few changes. Please visit and bookmark my store! We offer great prices, service and products (: Hope you like this card!

Star Struck Teddy!!!!

I made this little teddy bear card for my DH cousin's baby shower. I just love this retired stamp from SU! The paper is Star Struck Dust from BoBunny. You can find this paper line at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com.
I also made a BABY chipboard word book as the gift. I used all the papers from the Star Struck line and Glitz design Stars. I am working on an e-book that will be a lot like a class with me on chipboard books. I have a new shipment of PRIMA products to add to the store, so I better stop blogging and get to work (: Hope you have a wonderful day!

This is just the most beautiful Autumn stamp set!!! I used my cricut to cut the flourishes and stickels to add a little sparkle.  Hope you like my fall inspired card, because I made it while I should have been grocery shopping (: If you are in the mood to do some shopping click on over to my new website HERE
