Hot Chocolate Social on a Snow Day!

What better thing to do on a snow day but a Hot Cocoa Social! Don't you just love this House Mouse Stamp. I used of course the Hot Cocoa Social HM stamp, with Bittersweet Basic Grey paper. I added four buttons to each corner. I used liquid pearls by Ranger to the marshmallows. I will be carrying Ranger products in my online store in a few weeks (including liquid pearls). If you love this stamp as much as I do order it HERE!
This is what else we do on a snow day (:

Our backyard slopes so it is the perfect yard for sledding!!! When we are done with sledding and playing in the snow we come inside for a nice round of Hot Chocolate (: Hope you are staying warm!!!!

More Basic Grey!

This is the second card I made using paper from Ambrosia from Basic Grey. I am just in LOVE with the Basic Grey 6x6 paper pads. They are perfect for card making and wonderful for adding paper details to scrapbook pages. In this card I used a die cut I made using a Cricut, acetate to fill in the window, I raised it off the paper with black pop dots and stamped the butterflies with StazOn black ink. The bling down the side is Glitz Designs black frosting. I used a little brown ink and Pearl ink behind the butterflies. Check out all the new papers and stamps on my website!!!! HERE!

Ambrosia Paper Fun!

This is a card I made using the new Basic Grey paper from my online store called Ambrosia. I am just in love with the gorgeous coordinating papers in this 6x6 paper pad! I also added a strip of Glitz frosting down the center of this card. I added one large rhinestone to the bow. I love Glitz frosting because you have two sizes to choose from, and it is completely moldable or can be used piece by piece. I added a touch of crystal stickles to this paper for added bling.  I will be carrying Ranger products in the next few weeks (: The butterfly stamps are from the Dollar store a long time ago and they have no visible brand name. I did color them with Stampin Up colors.
Hope you had a wonderful day! I played out in the snow with my children (:

Star Struck Teddy Bear!

I made this teddy bear card for the Sketch Challenge (SC211) on SCS. Part of the sketch was to use stars so of course I thought of my Star Struck Paper from BoBunny! This paper is some of my favorite boy paper (: I cut the two star shapes out of one of the sheets of paper. Hope you like this little boy card (: I enjoyed the sketch.
Don't forget to check out my store! I added some new roller doodle stamps (:

Happy Birthday fun card!

I made this card using the card design by Carolyn King from My Blog. She has a great tutorial on how to complete this fun card. Oh and Blog candy. Mine is not as pretty as hers, but I had fun making it (: The stamp is a retired Stampin Up birthday stamp. The paper can be found HERE.  I have also been playing with House Mouse stamps today...I am so excited to offer them soon at my store

The Mom Song

This is my life right now! I thought all of you would appreciate this song (: I have a mountain of clean laundry to put away today, but I soooo want to go into my craft room for some play time! I love being a mom to my 4 adorable children but I do get fatigued from time to time. My DF watched my two younger ones yesterday (my older ones were in school) so I could have lunch at World Market with a friend. We did a little shopping before I had to get the kids off the bus. I love my life but WOW is it CRAZY (: This post is for all the moms who are behind on their laundry and blogging today (:
Let me know if this is you!!!! (:

Under the Stars Adventure!

I made this card for today's Ways To Use It challenge on SCS (WT200) called Starry Eyed. The challenge was to incorporate stars into a card. I used my new stamp set (Under the Stars) that I got from Tiffany for Christmas (: I love camping so this card has an outdoors feel. I also used her Weathered background stamp for the background...yes, I will return this stamp Tiffany LOL! Yellow Stickles were used on the stars and sentiment area. Hope you are having a great day! Let me know what you think!

Cute Tacky Glitter House Mouse!

I made this card for the SCS TLC202 challenge called tacky glitter this week. I did have glitter everywhere but it was so worth it! I used my new copics to color the image as well as stickles were added to the flower (in keeping with the glitter theme). This card is very simple, but I wanted the technique to stand out, because it is sooo pretty in person. I used a slightly pink glitter and a clear glitter, but the difference is not showing up in the picture. I am really having fun with my new copics! I have a lot of them but of course I need so many more (:
Hope you are having a happy new year so far! I am having a hard time getting back into a routine after a two week Christmas holiday with my family at home (: We also got a kitten last month! I will have to take a picture of her up close and show you...she is sooo wonderful!
