My Cuppa Joe and a Stripped Sweater!

This card was created for a family friend who fell on ice on Christmas Eve and broke her nose. She is okay but badly bruised, and will be undergoing surgery to repair her nose. I used Fancy Pants paper from my store called Striped Sweater and My Cuppa Joe from Gina K Designs. The strip of brown is embossed to mimic a coffee sleeve. This card makes me want to head down to the coffee shop today (: I think I will!
This is a picture of my DH and I having lunch at Crown Candy in St. Louis on our anniversary weekend. This place is like stepping back in the past, and the milk shakes are to die for!!!!! We had such a romantic weekend! Thank you to everyone for your sweet wishes (:

I will be out this week (:

I just wanted all my Blogging friends to know that I had a great Christmas. DH bought me House Mouse stamps that are soooo sweet, so I am looking forward to using my new Copics with those. I also bought myself the new Cuppa' Joe stamp set from Gina K designs. I am a Bean Head so when I saw this set on My Blog I had to order this.
I will be adding new products to scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com in the coming year. Don't forget that this website is not just for scrapbookers, but stampers also. I will be adding more stamps also (: I am personally in love with all forms of paper crafting! Use your Christmas money on some great products...Click Here!
This weekend is our 11th anniversary, so we will be leaving tomorrow on a romantic weekend without the kids. I will be back next week with new things to show you!
Happy New Year!!!!

Christmas Picture REality!

This is a picture of my dear children. I have tried and tried to get a decent picture of these children! In this picture everyone just got done fighting over who should hold the pets, especially our new kitty. It took more time to break up the fight than it did to take the picture. As you can see my son has a fake smile and my oldest is just not trying! It was suggested today that we need more kittens!!!!! I thought I was being especially nice to allow this one (: We have named her Princess Meow Meow. No I did not come up with the name (: I am about to attempt Christmas Picture take two (: I hope it goes much better.
Hope you are having a "FIGHT FREE" Christmas, LOL!!!!

Still Christmas!!!

Yes, I am still making Christmas cards (: I just love making these paper poinsettias (I think that's what they are called). I used permanent glue to adhere the pearls to the center.  Glitter lines all the edges and flower. I hope you like this card (:  I am busy, busy, busy so I will make this short. Have a great day!

Gift Card Fun!!!

This is a pop up gift card, card that I learned how to make on SCS. I think this is just so fun to make and an interesting way to give a gift card. I made four of these for teachers gift cards. I bought all of them gift cards for Mokka our local coffee shop. The owner of Mokka is my neighbor and I think she is just great. I had the Starbucks gift card (used) already so I put that in to show how it works.
Inside view of this fun card
This is another example of the pop up gift card card.
I used a "do not open till Christmas" stamp on the inside of this one. I have a lot to show you this week so keep checking in (: I received my images from StarbucksStamper from Blogger group 3. I am just soooo in love with the images that she sent me! She also sent me the cutest card that I will show you soon. I just wanted to say thank you to her on my Blog (: This is something that I will do again it was soooo fun. I hope everyone is having a stress reduced holiday (no such thing as stress free) and remember to take time for yourself! I always buy myself something at the holidays so take care of yourself to and hop over to my store for some fun holiday shopping!!!! I will ship it out the door to you FAST! Have a great holiday!!!

Projects To Share!!!!

This is a paper bag scrapbook that I made. I just love this stamp!!! It looks like my uncle Clinton who is by the way Santa. I will have to show you pictures of him as Santa at our Schools Christmas Crafts last week. I have had such a nice holiday.
This is a gift card holder I designed using this wonderful stamp (: I added glitter to the torn corners.
This is an inside view of my gift card card. I used the word window punch to create the slot. I had to use it a little over its size to fit a gift card (punch it 1 1/2 times across).
My first craft fair experience went soooo well! I will be doing them again for sure (: I will tell you more about it this week, I have a lot more to share with you. I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday!!!

Holiday CRazy!!!!!

Sorry I have been MIA! I am getting all my busy holiday stuff out of the way now. Next week should be better. I organized Christmas Crafts at school for over 200 children on the 5th, I kept my cousins one year old for a few nights while she had a baby this week, I hosted a Christmas Crafts workshop at my house Thursday evening and I have now stayed up all night to get caught up on crafts that I had to have done for a craft fair I am participating in "today"! Wow, I really do have stuff to show you, but I have just been soooooo busy. Oh, I also added Christmas Primas and Valentine Primas to scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com... I have had them in stock for some time, but thought they were on my site but just not selling, LOL! The Christmas Primas are just wonderful, I can see using them all year long (I will have to buy another jar). I hope your holiday season is going well! I will post a project soon (: Happy Holidays!!!!!

Christmas at Home

I made this clipboard for a craft fair I am doing next week. I have not been feeling myself the last few weeks, so I have a lot of crafting to do before next week!!!!! I think I am really feeling the loss of my Father who passed the day after Thanksgiving last year.  I am thinking of things that will cheer me up (: I have Christmas money from my sweet Grandpa so I was thinking of treating myself to Copics or Prisma Colors markers? What do you think? What should I buy?
This is a sweet picture of our sweet children. My DH has a special night of Christmas activities with them each Tuesday evening. Last night it was sugar cookies, candy and the Nativity Story out of the BIBLE. We had a sweet night (: I think I have the most wonderful husband (:
P.S. Check out scrapbookstoreatyourdoor for your Christmas shopping fun (:

Tired little penguin

This is a card I cased over two years ago, so I am not sure whom to give credit to. This card was sooo fun to make! I had so much fun on Black Friday that I am now without a voice!! I met a few friends at 1:30 a.m. and we camped out all night, and  hit 9 stores all before noon (: I bought almost everything on my list, so I am happy that is over. I really hate stretching out my Christmas shopping. We went over to my in-laws last night and stayed till 2:30 a.m. so I am a really run down little penguin today (: I am so tired that all my Black Friday Specials are still on my website so you may want to waddle over to my store and order today.

Warm Wishes and a Warm Trip!!!!

This is a card I made using Glitz Design paper. The stamp is an acrylic stamp set that I found at Wal Mart that came with the cutest animals. I added a rhinestone to the i in wishes and again on the star. I didn't have a lot of energy today after my big trip, so this was a simple card that I thought you may like (:
This is a picture of my loving DH and I in Tucson Arizona last week! He made top 10% in his company this year, so we were treated like royalty at the Master's event. I am soooo proud of him! We had the most wonderful time together, and yes the kids stayed at home with grandma and Tiffany (: I loved all the cactus and I have now decided I need a stamp with one LOL! I walked into them more than once (: I also loved all the mosaics I saw. I also want to create a card using mosaic. Anyway, I wanted to let everyone know why I haven't posted in a week. I also want to let everyone know that I added the Glue Glider Pro refills to my website. I know a few of you have emailed me about them. I also want everyone to know that I have a BLACK FRIDAY special going on this holiday weekend for all my Blogging Friends. Everyone who places an order this week will receive a FREE Glue ring with their order. Glue rings are the perfect stylish  accessory at a get together (:  Don't forget to shop at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor this weekend too (:

My Word this is Pretty!

I can say this is pretty because my dear friend and DTM Tiffany made this word book. She used the FAMILY chipboard book from BoBunny as well as the Urban Cosmos Kit and Brads from Fancy Pants Designs. She also used Glitz Designs orange frosting on the letter L. Of course you can purchase these products at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com.
This paper is soooo elegant and it goes perfectly with the Family MY WORD books!
I am in the middle of writing an e-book on how to complete chipboard books. Look for this soon! You too can make one of these books (:
I love how she combined the papers in this kit!
This brad  is just gorgeous!!! I love how she layered the flowers. I hope you have enjoyed this project as much as I have enjoyed sharing it! Let me know what you think!
P.S. Check out my website for these amazing projects (:

Holly Jolly Christmas Joy!

I made another Christmas canvas! I am having so much fun making these. The paper is from the Holly Jolly line found on my website, and so are the die cuts that match this paper. I used a Holly Jolly rub-on on a large white brad to make a matching brad! I also used a rub on for the joy in the lower left hand corner. The JOY title is a die cut that I used gold stickles on. I really love Christmas crafts to shine with glitter (: These canvases are so much prettier in person, I wish I was a better photographer ): Hope you enjoy this cheerful holiday project as much as I enjoyed putting it together (: I have added new rub-ons to my online store so be sure and have a look. These are the best rub-ons that I have used, so I know you will love them. I also have been getting several questions about my glue glider pro that I sell on my website. This baby is lightweight, filled with 40 feet of permatac adhesive in a 1/4" width, It can also use permanent refills that are 60 feet, I do have the refills and will be placing them on my website soon, it has a one year warranty, it is super easy to refill or switch cartridges, works on everything like a dream. If you are sick of buying adhesive and running out in the same week, you really need to buy a glue glider pro! I use everything I sell, so I am sure you will love it (:

Holly Jolly Canvas Christmas Fun!!!

I was sooo inspired by the beautiful canvas tutorial on SCS! I went out last night and bought 12 canvases in various sizes, LOL! This is a 11x14 sized canvas. I painted it with folk art brand acrylic paints in Linen, Teddy Bear. I also added a hint of Adirondack Shell Pink. I stamped snowflakes in whisper white SU craft ink. I used the beautiful new paper from my online store called Holly Jolly from Fancy Pants Designs. This paper is just soooo high quality. I also used the die cut set from the Holly Jolly line called Tags and Titles. I have so many more beautiful die cuts from this 12x12 sheet, I will be using them in other canvases. I used a part of Glitz Designs pink rhinestone strips called frosting. This high quality rhinestone really makes this project shine! I used SU rub ons and glitter glue to add a little unexpected shimmer. I used Fancy Pants Happy stamps found on my website (they are new). This canvas will fit three or four pictures beautifully. I would use my glue arts products to ensure these pictures will stay in place long term. I had so much fun creating this! I hope you like it (:

Glitz Christmas Card!

This is a Christmas card that I made. I used a Glitz polka dot roller doodle to create the background by rolling it in SU whisper white craft ink. The stamp is a studio g stamp. The paper is from Glitz Designs. I will be making some more Christmas cards this week using papers from Fancy Pants Designs that I just got in last week. I have all new winter papers, stamps, 8x8 albums, ribbon plus and a few more things that I  will be adding this week to Scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com. Check it out!
Christmas is coming so if you would like to place an order and have your order made into a gift set, just add that information in with your order or email me with your exact wishes (: If you are listed on my Blog I will add in some extra goodies for you...shhh don't tell (:

Santa is Distressing!!!!

This is a card I made for my SCS Bloggers Group #2. The challenge was hosted by Sara. The challenge was to use polka dots any way we like and ribbon. I used both in almost every layer. The paper is from Glitz Designs (you can buy some at my web store), the Santa stamp is from SU and the sentiment stamp is a $1 stamp from studio g, the primas are white and yellow and I used a polka dot stamp roller (also found on my site) from Glitz Designs. I love this roller and find that I reach for it all the time! I sprayed Tattered angels on the Santa to distress him a little. I also added a little pearl acrylic paint from Ranger to the edges of everything. This paper has its own unique style that I really like, so I tried to make a card that matched that style well. Hope everyone likes it. My 8 year old daughter can't decide if she likes it, or she is just too sweet to say she hates it, LOL! I like to try different styles to stretch myself a little. Hope you like it (:
This is a cute picture of my youngest son and our doggy Bruno (: We have had Bruno for two years now and our children have just loved him! He is the sweetest dog and I just live him (: He always sits by my feet while I am working in my office or Blogging, so I had to share my furry friend with you (:
I also wanted to mention that I got a huge shipment in yesterday so check out my website for some unique items! I will be adding rub-ons on Monday too. I have a beautiful kit in from Fancy Pants Designs called Arctic Chill. This set makes you want to snuggle up with a nice cup of hot tea and start creating! I also have a new line of winter paper in called Holly Jolly that is just gorgeous! This paper is double sided and each side is stunning! It's cold here and I am going to play with some of this new paper and Oh a new stamp set called Happy. Make a warm cup of something and go shopping! If you are listed on my Blog I will add in a sweet little surprise to your order (:

Christmas in a Bag!

This is a paper bag album I made using Glitz Designs Kringle paper. I also used several Stampin Up stamps and Glitz frosting (bling).
This book was made with four basic lunch sacks, folded and tied with green fibers. I also inked the edges with real red ink from SU. I stamped a snowflake stamp with Whisper White from SU.
The last four pages have openings for tags to slide into. This is a fun way to "hide" pictures (:

This book took one sheet of Kringle Ornaments, Kringle Santa, Kringle Flourish and Kringle Snowflakes with some squares left over. I used my Glue Glider Max to adhere the sheets of paper so my sheets are perfectly adhered to the paper bag. If you do not have a glue gun (it's wide tape) you really should give this amazing gun a try! If the Max is too big for you, try the little Glue Glider Max.
*If you are in the mood to do some shopping, check out my store HERE!
I hope you like my holiday project! We will be making this in a smaller form for the Christmas Crafts program at my children's school. We have so many cute projects that we will be preparing for. I promise I will share those pictures with you this month as we work on them (:

Class Party Bags

These are the treat bags I made for my daughter's classroom for Halloween. You may think that I am really on top of things because I made 25 of these and I finished them yesterday. Well, not so organized am I (: I got a call Monday night from this mom, she was talking about this party at school, so I asked if she was talking about my son's class party (remember I have 4 kids) she was a little perturbed at me and told me it was for my daughter's class party. She then asked if I remembered that I was signed up to do the treat bags..NO. Now she is really disgusted with me, but I promised her that I would be able to make them. At the beginning of school (August) we sign up for all the little things that we will help with throughout the school year. I always mean to bring my calender and write this stuff down but I always forget it at home!!! It is such a mad dash to get anywhere with four kids.
I have to say that I am very proud that I finished these little treat bags. They are very simple, but I needed them to be, because it was last minute and for 25 kids! My DD loves them so that is all that matters to me (: I try so hard to be super mom, but I am just not that good at my life.
My DH asked why I cut the tops (: I told him it was supposed to look like straw (: Oh well (:

Shoebox Fun!!!

Look how much FUN we are having (:

I host these events in my dinning room that I choose to keep empty for crafting purposes (: I love to set up my tables, add paper to the tops so we can stamp on them and away we go!!! I use old plan paper that my DH gets from work for my large table paper (:
This is another card made by Katherine at our local SCS shoebox swap last Saturday. I just love the 3-D type cards (: We used Snow Swirled from SU. The center image was embossed with Gold embossing powder.
I think I will try this card template for a few of my Christmas cards this year. It is a little too complicated to mass-produce (I need 200 cards this year). We had so much fun at our shoebox swap, what a great group of ladies!!!! The cards were sooooo wonderful too!

October Shoebox Fun at my House!

This adorable card was made by Dee. I love this card (: I love the Wild About You set (:
This card was made by Shirley. I had to have someone show me how to fold the turkey feathers, LOL! I really thought this was a fun card. I added the leaves to the card, but her original card didn't have them.
This card was made by Tiffany. She used the Fall Festival paper from BoBunny and Glitz frosting (the bling) from my store. This card is so pretty in person (:
This card was made by Melissa. I asked for the pattern so I could make this into Christmas cards. I just love this card!!!!
This cute little Frankie was made by Tracy. I have wanted to make one of these after seeing so many cute designs on My Happy Place (see favorite Blogs). I have one more card and some pictures from our shoebox swap to share tomorrow (:  Let me know what you think!!!

Tower of Birthday Fun!!!!

These are plain hat boxes that I altered for our church Sunday school. I was asked to make a cake like birthday treat tower that can be used for the children's birthdays each month.  I just noticed I didn't stack them straight for the picture (: I am so crazy this week!!!
I painted he boxes a yellow, covered them in a birthday themed paper. I also stamped and embossed several of the papers. I used my Glue Glider Max (the big Daddy of adhesive guns) The new Glue Glider Pro that I showed you a few days ago is the Little Sweetie, it is not the big gun. It is perfect for small crafting like cards and scrapbook pages. It looks larger in the picture.
I used the amazing ribbon adhesive to attach this ribbon firmly to the box lids. It allows for the ribbon to be placed straight and firm. Click HERE to order yours (: You will love me for it (:
The finished product, one gigantic tower of birthday fun! My picture isn't the best, but my week is a little crazy (: I am still getting ready for our shoebox at my house Saturday. Oh, I need to design a card for it! I am soooo excited to host this month (: I have all sorts of wonderful appetizers and a chocolate fondue. We are not expected to provide food, but I love to eat, LOL!  We always have the most FUN!
