Card Candy Fun!

I made this card candy for a food related swap on SCS. I used the Crafty Secrets stamp set Little Chef along with a few others. The paper is Apple Orchard Gingham and is double sided with apples and gingham print. I used cherry twist framers market twine for the bow on the cupcake candy. I used liquid pearls for the icing and dots around the circle. I LOVE liquid pearls and find so many uses for it! You can find most of these items in my store, so go shopping and see what's new! Scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com
Sorry I have been MIA for some time, I should be back on track and ready to stamp (: I am also ready to fire up the Recipe Card Challenge Design Team and if you or someone you know is crazy about cooking or card making send me an example of work! The term is for six months and free food related card making products are included. Just apply!

Popcorn THe Bear and I wish I could stamp!

I am sharing a stamp with you this week in place of a card ): sniffles...I am taking a condensed graduate course right now and I have until next Monday until it is over. The worst part of it is I am not able to stamp due to the CRAZY amount of homework I am dealing with. I will be soooo happy to have this completed and I hope you will be patient with me.You can go shopping in my store and enjoy purchasing this sweet Popcorn The Bear stamp. I do have all of them in stock but probably not online (the class problem again), so if you want one that is not up just shoot me an email and I will take care of you. Hugs!

Bouquet Of Joy and Copics!

I made this card for the teapot Tuesday challenge on SCS. I used the stamp set Bouquet Of Joy and colored it with Copics. This is one of my favorite stamps! I will be adding more Crafty Secret stamp sets to the store, because I love many of them. I also highlighted with a Copic Glitter pen in lavender. The bling and paper are Basic Grey all from my store. The punch is a Martha Stewart. If you need a LSS go no further than your computer and type in scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com, you get the convenience of shopping in your PJ's and having a personalized shopping experience. If you need something special just send me an email.
I am feeling much better after my surgery and my biopsy came back fine... big relief for me. Thank you for all the well wishes it meant a lot to me (: hugs
My children are all in school now and I have to say I feel REALLY lost! I do not do well with transitions so this is really discombobulating for me. DH says that I am being too hard on myself, but I only know how to be me. I am taking my first online class to get my teaching license back. It's been 10 years!!!! The class will also help me add a little pizazz to my Copic classes (it's called Presentation Pizazz) I think it will be good for me to keep my mind really busy. Hope you enjoyed my card!

Popcorn Bear and Sick Duck called Julie

This is a stamp that comes with the Popcorn Bear stamp set called Bunches Of Love. Popcorn The Bear is a great value with several images and sentiments included with each set. My local customers are ordering one of each set! I am adding a few new product pages to my website and one of the will be called Popcorn the Bear. Adding product pages is so complicated that it should be done next week sometime.
I had a girly surgery today and my family is yelling at me for being out of bed, posting right now and answering customers emails, LOL! I promise to be here for everyones product needs and I really mean it, hehehe.
I am hosting an all day crop Saturday for scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com with a Copic class included, and attending a Relay For Life Crop event for a few hours that day and teaching a make and take. I am very blessed to have my best friends working with me on days like this...Thanks Sandy! I have been in bed today watching videos designed for store owners and teachers and it was all going great until my DH pointed out WHO carried the TV up three flights of steps!!!!!! I was busted just like a little kid ): Well I am coloring in bed with Copics so I guess if the shoe fits (: Okay I am being yelled at by my mom, "ARE YOU WORKING?"

Embossed Prima Album

I made this 6x6 embossed album for my Secrete Sister. The album comes in plain chipboard but embossed on the front and back covers. I used a wine colored crayon and pink acrylic paint to create a crayon resist technique. I used Prima flowers, a charm I had on hand, liquid pearls and some pearls. The love is a cricut die cut. The ribbon is from Prima also. This album was a lot of fun to make! Enjoy

Envelope card!

The colors are off in my pictures, sorry. I am still investigating new cameras after my camera was viciously murdered a few weeks ago ): I made this envelope card for my secret sister. These are really fun, because you use one sheet of 12x12 paper and just create a card to fit inside. I used a retired set from Prima Marketing that I have been hoarding for some time (note it has been retired) LOL! The ribbon I still have in stock and it is so pretty to work with.
Hope you are having a wonderful summer. My Blog and work have been suffering so I can keep up with my four children. We have been having a fun summer I have to say filled with lots of camping, summer camps and fun activities with friends. Today we went to lunch with friends and to Toy Story 3, sweet movie!!!! Now we are off to have dinner with my Grandpa and their Great Grandpa (: Life is good.

Popcorn Bear colored with Copics

This is a card I made for my Secret Sister (: I used a sweet stamp set from my store called Popcorn Bear! They are the cutest bear stamps and so affordable! I colored him with Copics also from my store. The background paper is Basic Grey. SO SORRY for the blurry picture. I am still using my 10 year old DD's camera ): You may remember that "some child" in my home (still at-large) destroyed my very expensive perfect camera that I can't afford to replace now. Yes, this summer has been a work out with 4 children plus most of my neighborhood children in and out of my home. Well it is noon and I better get dressed for the day, LOL! If you want to shop online today please check out my store. I offer the very best in stamping and scrapbooking supplies. I also do special orders so please feel free to contact me with a request, I guarantee you will get a great price and personal attention! My Store

YES!!!! I am posting again

I used a crayon resist technique with acrylic paint for this album. It's hard to see in this picture but the crayon is a dark green and the paint is called tapestry wine from Apple Barrel Colors. I used white Primas from the Bucket of White Blooms from my store. If you want to create stunning Primas color white ones with Copics and you will be amazed at the results. If you need to expand or start your Copics collection, send me an email and I am sure I can customize a sweet Copic deal for you (:
The paper I used is an old Prima set but the colors and paper are stunning! I added liquid pearls to the center of these Primas. The inside pages are very simple because of who I made this for, I wanted to match her taste. I still need to add ribbon to the rings (:
More pretty paper!
More pretty paper!
I customized these white Primas to match the paper using Copics, so fun!
Well I am now using my DD camera, because some naughty child in this household destroyed my very expensive camera a few weeks ago ): The pictures are not perfect but I hope they pass (:

Envelope Type card

This is an envelope type card for our Secret Sister challenge that we are doing in our Designing Divas group on SCS. I had a lot of fun with this, because it is just folding of a 12x12 DP! I did cut a card to fit inside. I will be making a few of these I am sure before it is out of my system, hehehe

Sweet Little Birdie card

I made this card a few weeks ago but with my kitchen remodeling couldn't find the time to share it. I used Basic Grey paper and a stamp all from my online store. If you haven't visited in some time please take a look. I have added a lot of new great products to the store. I am also a Copic dealer so if you want a few markers that you do not see online, because I tend to sell sets and manage the Copic Club for individual markers, let me know! I promise to give you a great deal (:

My New Countertop and Boarder Swap!

As promised here is a look at my new counter-top created with Giani! I am really thrilled with the look. The images are of a Cricut boarder swap I participated in, so I thought I would show you both (: Sorry I have been MIA but my kitchen has taken a lot out of me. Also my sister is moving to Florida and I am really sad right now. I have few small things to do before I will take the big reveal picture of my kitchen but we are close.
I am taking sign ups for the next round of Copic Collector's Club! I offer fun gifts every month as well as great options for any budget. Send me an email if you want to collect or collect more Copics!

Sunflower Smooch Fun!

This is a card I made for my Recipe Card Challenge Blog. The pull-out tag contains a recipe. I colored my House Mouse image with Copics. This stamp is called Sunflower Smooch! The paper is 6x6 basic grey. All supplies can be found in my store.
I have had a very busy few weeks! DH is feeling better after two rounds of antibiotics. My DD had a great 10th birthday and I finished my kitchen cabinet remodel which was a BIG job. Now we are resurfacing our kitchen countertops with a new paint alternative called Giani, it looks like granite! A friend of mine did it in her kitchen and I was really impressed with it. Our homes previous owners had odd taste (I am trying to be nice) so I am fixing the oddness in my kitchen (: We bought a new very cool sink and faucet last night. I am thinking of resurfacing my light fixtures to match everything ( I watch HGTV a lot, hehehe). I will take pictures when we are completed with this overhaul. I am painting tonight, an olive green color (:

Quiet Evening With Friends!

I hope you had a wonderful Easter! I spent my weekend in the ER and home with a sick hubby. He is doing a little better today but still really weak. He had strep-throat and a double ear infection. We are also in the middle of remodeling our kitchen, so life is a little messy here!

This card was made for my Recipe Card Challenge Blog. This is actually a recipe card, but could easily be a card. I used a 12x12 piece of paper scored in four equal sections and folded to create two pockets for recipes. The pockets could also be used to stuff candy or a poem. The paper, Copics used to color the image and stamp are from my store at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com. I added all the NEW House Mouse stamps just released to my store so please take a look they are adorable! Also, if you are in the market for Copics send me an email!

Ornamental Recipe card!

This is a recipe card that I made for my Recipe Card Challenge Blog. This is the last week for a chance to win some sweet blog candy so check it out! I stamped all the images in Versa Mark and embossed with Ranger black embossing powder. You can find this powder in my store, and I have to tell you that I use it all the time (: I used the Ornamental stamp set from BoBunny and an older SU sentiment. The polka dots are from the large polka roller doodle. Check out my store for all of the supplies used in this card! Hope you like it (:
Have a great day!

Sweet stamps and Copics

I made this card just for fun. I guess you can say I have candy and sweet treats on the mind (: I found this stamp set a year ago at M's in the $1 stamp bin. It's pretty sad that I own a stamping/scrapbook store and I still can't pass up these little studio g's (: Speaking of my store I have boxes of newly released products in my office waiting to be offered on my website. I am going to have to resist the urge once again to say one for me the rest for the store, LOL! I only order what I personally use and love so it's really hard sometimes to stay on a budget. Also if you know anyone interested in collecting Copics, please send them to my store! I offer a customized membership that works off of a persons existing Copic collection, taste and budget. I love to give my customers a personalized experience so pass the word on!
Well, I hope to create today. I am working on a few Cricut boarder swaps that I am in on SCS. Hope you all have a great day and great weekend !!!!

Challenge Card and Blog Candy Alert!

This is a card I made for yesterday's challenge on SCS. The challenge was to create a card with your childhood memories in mind. This card reminds me of a little table and chair set that I had. I remember having tea parties and coloring at my little table. It had similar colors and patterns as in this June Bug paper from Basic Grey. I tore the flower and placed them in layers. The word stamps are from studio g. I love the patterns and colors from my childhood and I really enjoyed making this 70's inspired card.
I also wanted to alert you to some sweet Blog Candy on my Recipe Card Challenge Blog! Go check it out! Also go shopping at scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com for this cool paper.

Recipe Card's Disney Style!

I made this card using a Cinderella stamp from my store. This image, brads and ribbon were colored with a matching blue Copic. Yes, you can color metal and all sorts of ribbon with Copics. The ribbon I used was a off white satin ribbon that I would have never used, but by coloring it I created a custom match for my card. If you would like to collect Copics but already have a few our Club would be a perfect option for you! Email me to sign up!
This card uses Spaceboy 6x6 paper from my store. The stamp is also a stamp from my store. I carry many Disney stamps so check it out! I made this recipe at my Christmas Crafts workshop and all the ladies went crazy over it. The best part it is soooo easy!
I hope you enjoy a few of my favorite recipes as well as the cards (:

Copic Coloring Therapy and Grape Dreams

This is one of my favorite House Mouse images called Grape Dreams. I love nothing more than to sleep (: I colored him with Copics and used Hot Tropical and Christmas Green Primas as embellishments. I colored basic metal brads with a Copic to match the card and added them to the center of the Primas. I really love using Copics on metal! I added a little purple fiber to the top of the card to give it a little more texture. The stamp is from an older SU set.
I made this card a few days ago with relaxation in mind, but am lucky to finally be posting it at 11:00 at night. My four children were off school today due to an Illinois holiday that no one really gets (: Casimir Pulaski Day . I really liked this holiday when I was a child, but now the tables have turned and I am the mom ): No fun now. Anyway last month when the children were home due to a snow day, I deleted my entire store newsletter that I was ready to send out. It is sort of funny now after I reconstructed it today and sent it out for March. The children REALLY rattle my brain! Thank God for Copics, because coloring reduces my stress (:

Hot Chocolate with Copics!

I made this recipe card for my Recipe Card Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge is for Chocolate Lovers. I am very proud to announce that I was Copic Certified last Sunday so I am REALLY loving all the Copics in my store. Lorie went with me to the certification in Kansas and although we had to brave the ice and snow we had a blast! I wish I could meet all my online friends in person (: We had so much fun and our teacher Sally Lynn was just wonderful! She is a gifted teacher as well as being a gifted artist. I am getting NOTHING done today after being so inspired.
I also wanted to let you all know that Scrapbook Store at Your Door is sponsoring the House Mouse and Friends Challenge Blog right now, so you should go check out the fun candy I am offering! House Mouse, Gruffies and Happy Hopers are wonderful to color with Copics so join my Copic Collector's Club as well!

Get Well Noah!

This sweet little card is for a friend's three year old little boy who just spent some time in the hospital sick ): I am planning on making him some cookies to go along with this card now that he is a lot better and eating. The medicine in the bottle is dimetapp with purple stickles (: I used basic grey paper and large colorful brads. The scalloped squares were made with spellbinders. All supplies from my store. We had a snow day here, so I will be washing snow play clothes for days (: Hope you liked this card.

Baby Boy Scrapbook

These are some of the pages to the scrapbook I made for a long time friend who is having a baby this month. At first I was only going to give her supplies for her baby album, but I decided the afternoon before the shower to make his scrapbook (: I used supplies from my store and my cricut. I used Copics to color the die cuts.

This is a close up of a bottle die cut that I colored using my Copics. I have always chalked my die cuts, but I really LOVE the look of the Copic markers (:

Warm Your Soul!

This is a recipe card that I made for my Recipe Card Challenge Blog. This weeks challenge was to create recipe cards for warm drinks to warm the soul. This recipe card doubles as a get well card with a handy hot drink recipe to help a cold. I just love Changito and Changito Coffee is my favorite! I just added him to the store so go check him out. I also used one of my favorite 6x6 paper pack called Nook and Pantry from Basic Grey. The sentiment stamp can also be found in my store. I used a pair of old antique decorative scissors to cut around my image and layers. I know decorative scissors are not in style, but I still use my antique scissors from time to time, shhh (: Well I have a busy day tomorrow working out custom Copic Club sets for my Copic Collector's Club members. I have to say I really enjoy all the beautiful colors Copic offers! It is a pleasure to pass them on to good homes (: I hope you are having a great start to your week. I feel like I am running at full speed, and it is just not fast enough. Maybe we can all take time to relax this week a little (: Maybe I can play the Wii (:

Challenge Crazy!

This card was made for two challenges today; the Technique challenge on SCS, and a card giveaway challenge with my Ladies Ink Group on SCS. I used one of my favorite House Mouse stamps and I made it a scratch and sniff chocolate. I used a sugar free Splinda chocolate powder with my clear embossing powder. It looks like real chocolate after the embossing (: YUMMY! This paper is Carefree hearts by Heidi Swapp and the Primas are from my online store as well. I used my favorite pearl stickers for the centers of the Primas also found in my store. The image was colored with Copics, my favorite (: I hope you have enjoyed my card and have a great day!

My first Tear Bear

This is my first attempt at a Tear Bear. I am a little disappointed that I wasn't able to achieve a really fuzzy look with my mulberry paper. The Mulberry paper I used is from my store and is double sided with tan and dark brown, so it is great if you want two colors to work with. I made a male brown bear that I plan on using in a camping scrapbook page (: She is really cute in person but not that fuzzy.
I used a new paper from my store from heidi swapp called Carefree-hearts. This paper is double sided and soooo cute! You will have to add this paper to your collection like I have (:
I am so excited because I have a ton of new products to add to my store in the next few weeks (: I had a large shipment of goodies arrive last night (: I better get back to work!
