Porcelain My Cup of Cocoa!

I made this card using the 6x6 Basic Grey pack of Porcelain paper. I have to say that I LOVE this paper so much! I used the House Mouse stamp Morning Kick Start and the HM sentiment Cup Of Cocoa. I also used a few of the wonderful metal embellishments from a 350 pack from my online store. I love the little case these come in (: I used Pearl paint to distress my edges in a shabby chic way. If you have never used Pearl paint or liquid pearls you really are missing something fun. I carry all of these products in my store, because I use them and have been using them for some time. Go Shopping!
I have a question for all you professional photographers (: I made a light box and it looks really professional. The problem is the person using it is not, LOL! My images are turning out oddly colored which is not what I was going for in the first place. I read online to use natural light bulbs. I bought them last night and I did find some improvement, but it is still not perfect. I had to alter the tints of the photo above to look a little normal. I have a Panasonic DMC-TZ1 camera. If anyone has any tips that can help me make this light box work, I would be so appreciative! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. I am still home with kids with the flu ): I am going to play with flower soft sometime this weekend!

House Mouse & Product Fun!

I made this card using the HM stamp Lily Pad Pond from my online store. I stamped the image and used Bridal Embossing Tinsel from my online store (I added two new pages of products!). I colored this image with Copics, but what makes it stand out is the Embossing Tinsel. Bridal embossing tinsel by Ranger has been my favorite powder for years, so I am so excited to offer it in my own store (: I also have a page full of beautiful Stickles and Liquid Pearls! Oh so much fun. The metal embellishment is from a set of 350 pieces of embellishments that yes, you can find on my site (: I LOVE House Mouse!
My 4 children are all home with the flu, so I better make this short (: Hope everyone is having a great day and if you want to do some shopping hop on over to my store!
P.S. I have Flower Soft
in the store!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Little Birdie Told Me!

I made this card using GIGI BIRDS paper from Glitz Designs. The Bird stamp is one I picked up for $1 last year. The "cute" stamp is one from Stampin Up. I used stickles from my online store (page coming soon with Stickles and paints by Ranger). If you want to go shopping check out the gorgeous new paper's for spring and the new ink pads and embossing powders that have been added to scrapbookstoreatyourdoor.com
Sorry I haven't posted in so long! Our router was out, we have had several funerals to go to, and now my son has the FLU! I really need better luck (: Hope everyone's life is going a little smoother than mine, LOL! Off the Lysol my house (:

Birthday card and Falling Out of my Craft Room!

This is a card I made using Basic Grey! The stamp is a SU. This card is similar to a card we made at our last local SCS shoebox swap. This card is much cuter in person...I am having a bad picture taking day. I forgot who designed the original card...sorry I was busy hosting that day (: This is a very simple card, one sided with a little card that flips open on the front. The original card was also tilted.  I will be cleaning my craft room tomorrow, because I fell out of it today!!!!! Yes, I am hurting all over ): It is really sad that it has to come down to personal injury before I clean my craft room.  I better end this post now, one of my local SCS friends is demonstrating Gold Canyon Candles tonight at my house (: These candles are by far the best I have found, I am sooo excited!

Sweet Basic Grey Candy Wrappers!

My computer finally works!!! Thanks to DH (: I found out my children have been "playing" on my computer. I haven't had time to edit my pictures, but do you really care (: I made these candy bar wrappers for the SCS shoebox swap I held at my house last Saturday. We had a wonderful time. Our theme was chocolate, so I wrapped Hershey Bars in 6x6 Basic Grey papers. One Basic Gray 6x6 sheet wraps perfectly around a candy bar (no cutting)! I had several stamps and four different BG pads for everyone to choose from. If you love Basic Grey check out my store! Hope you like these.
