Christmas at Home

I made this clipboard for a craft fair I am doing next week. I have not been feeling myself the last few weeks, so I have a lot of crafting to do before next week!!!!! I think I am really feeling the loss of my Father who passed the day after Thanksgiving last year.  I am thinking of things that will cheer me up (: I have Christmas money from my sweet Grandpa so I was thinking of treating myself to Copics or Prisma Colors markers? What do you think? What should I buy?
This is a sweet picture of our sweet children. My DH has a special night of Christmas activities with them each Tuesday evening. Last night it was sugar cookies, candy and the Nativity Story out of the BIBLE. We had a sweet night (: I think I have the most wonderful husband (:
P.S. Check out scrapbookstoreatyourdoor for your Christmas shopping fun (:

I know this must be such a difficult time, but to be surrounded by family can be that blessing we need at times. Your kids are cute, and it's great to hear there are other awesome dad's out there (my dh is pretty great too! :-)) Love the clipboard, btw.

Great clipboard! Sorry to hear about the blues; the holidays can be so tough when we have memories of family. I know I get there too. My mom passed away almost 18 years ago in the spring, but the holidays have never ever been the same since and I work each year to find new traditions and new memories! you have a wonderful family!! treasure each day!

Your clipboard is awesome!! How awesome it is to have a husband who is so involved with your children, and those moments are the kind of things kids remember when they grow up!!

I LOVE the clipboard! It's totally awesome.
As for copics or prisma, I have both typer of markers, and I prefer copics, (usually I get them from www.oozak.com, they are cheapest there), their tips are softer (sketch and ciaos) than the prismas, and are brush like, and easier to color with as well come in more colors.

Stopping by to say Hi, and I'm so sorry you're feeling sad - holidays seem to bring up those feelings when you're missing someone you love - and then the mojo seems to go. When I have days like this I just sit down and tell myself I'm only playing - no destination in mind - it helps to know you don't "have" to be productive. Your clipboard is cute and enjoy your markers. Take Care
