Birthday 70's Style!

This is the card I made for our local SCS shoebox swap held at my house last Saturday afternoon. The theme was the 70's in honor of my birthday this Wednesday (: I was born in the 70's, so I thought it would be a fun theme. The cards everyone created for the swap were sooooo creative!
This is a pocket card that was designed to hold tea bags. I used Stampin Up paper, and cardstock from my online store. Stampin Up has beautiful paper packs, so if you need a demonstrator please check out one of my friends located in my sidebar. Chances are one of them can be your local demonstrator. I own an online store, but I still buy from SU (: I really do love a variety of products.
This is an open view of the card without tea bags in the pockets. The sentiment is a Stampabilities stamp that can be found in my online store. I think it is such a happy wish for anyone. Saturday we had mint chocolate chip ice cream cake (my favorite), vegetable pizza, a fruit and a strawberry tray. My DH bought all the snacks and flowers for our swap party. I had a lovely day! SCS has brought so many wonderful friends into my life and I feel truly blessed with so many talented friends. I will also be posting all the cards I have been receiving from my stamping friends near and far. You all are really a blessing to my life!

Mother In Law card!

This is the Mother's Day card I made for my Mother In-Law. My DH was very happy to give this to her. I used Basic Grey Wisteria paper (my favorite right now) with a fun House Mouse stamp from my store. The pearls are the new Basic Grey half pearls that I just added to Scrapbook Store at Your Door. I have so many new products that I have just added, and I am having   BLAST playing with all of them (: I have Wisteria buttons, brads 12x12 Collection, 6x6 paper pad as well as the new Wisteria stamps! I am so ready to play with these beautiful stamps (: I hope everyone is having a great week so far! I have a shoebox swap at my house this weekend in honor of my birthday. The theme is the 70's (I was born in 75) and we will be enjoying a yummy birthday cake while we stamp. I am so excited!

My Mother's Day card!

I made this card for my mother for Mother's Day. I used Basic Grey Porcelain paper from the 6X6 pad. I can't get enough of those 6x6 BG pads! Anyway, the stamp is a Happy Hopper, Relaxing Bubbles. I used Diamond Stickles for the Bubbles, and Liquid Pearls for the bathtub to add dimension. I added a tiny pearl to her hand from the new Basic Grey opaline that I now carry in my store. I also added them to the top corners. They are new from CHA. I can't get over how beautiful they are and what a GREAT price!

New Stamps Are FUN!!!!!!

This is my Secret Sister Challenge #1 card for my Divas group on SCS. I actually hosted this challenge titled Friendship Is In Bloom. We had to make a friendship themed card using as many flowers as possible. I used some Porcelain Paper from Basic Grey, Silk flowers with a liquid pearls center topped with mini pearls to finish off the pearl look. This technique is also pretty with Primas. Liquid pearls were also used on the bathtub and Diamond Stickles on the bubbles. The Stamp is a Happy Hopper, Relaxing Bubbles. I have all the new stamps added to my store now (:
This is a cute little stamp I carry in my store and I just wanted to play with it (: The buttons are from Basic Grey and I have to say I LOVE these buttons and reach for them so often (: I have had a crazy week so I am glad to be posting a few cards I have made. Have some shopping fun today and Go to my store and check out all the new stamps I have added. I will ship your items out with love on Monday (:

House Mouse Dance!

I had so much fun making this fun House Mouse card. This stamp is currently out of stock.  I had a run on stamps, so I will have them back in stock in a few days. I have so many cute new  Gruffies coming (:  I used one of my favorite paper packs by Basic Grey, Bittersweet. I have this in stock in the 6x6 pad and the 12x12 Collection. I used Valentines Primas with beaded centers. I used Cotton Candy Stickles on her dance skirt and in the center of the flowers. I also used the 350 piece embellishment set to add the two brads to the card. I used Nestabilities for my shapes. You will be happy to know I have tons of Nestabilities and Shapeabilities in stock. I will be adding them to my store next week. I have so much work and so little time to create!
This is an inside view of the card before I stamp the sentiments. HM has the cutest sentiment stamps! Just for the record I HATE real mice, but I love these fictional mice that Stampabilities make. For those of you that Hate both real and cartoon types, I will have more Gruffies back in my store next week (: They have been really popular. Let me know what stamps and products you are looking for, I offer great prices as a rule, and I always treat my Blogging friends and sisters with extra special love! Any new ideas are greatly appreciated (:
